I checked RSC (rsc.byu.edu) and the Joseph Smith Papers (josephsmithpapers.org) but found that a general conference address offered a more direct and universally applicable discussion of trusting in the Lord as presented in Proverbs 3:5–6, which is central to today's reading.
Elder Richard G. Scott taught about the importance of trusting the Lord completely, especially when facing life's challenges and uncertainties. He explained that true trust means relying on the Savior's wisdom and timing, even when our own understanding is limited. This trust allows us to accept guidance and find peace, knowing that God's plan is perfect and His love is constant, ultimately leading to greater joy and spiritual growth. He emphasized that while we should learn and work diligently, we must always anchor our efforts in faith and acknowledge the Lord in all our ways, allowing Him to direct our paths.
